I Thirst For More Samtoki Korean Lessons

Probably less commonly uttered than its food brother, but here is how you say “I’m thirsty” in Korean!

  1. 목 – Meog
  2. 말 – Mal
  3. 라 – La
  4. 요 – Yo

But just in case you want to ask for a glass of water…perhaps I should have just gone with that phrase.

Too late! We can do that another day.

Actually, I’m a little thirsty now. Thirsty for more learning!

물 한잔 주실 래요?

The Korean term for agua is “물”.

And this phrase would be the response to 목말라요, so more a question from the other party than a request.
